Circa 1900 A walnut side cabinet by ‘Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’ with many ‘Sir Robert Lorimer’ features, the crossbanded top with moulded fore-edge with a large bi-fold crossbanded door with burr walnut panels, crossbanded with top quality cast brass drop handles, opens to an uninterrupted interior, with a sliding shelf in the base, beneath the door there’s a curved frieze all resting on stylized bracket feet, could be used for a TV or drinks cabinet.
