Description
Circa 1900. An interesting tryptic mirror by ‘Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh’. The mahogany framed mirrors with fine beading, original bevel edge plates, with foxing on the central mirror, which is hinged, the mirrors are supported on simple uprights with curved tops. Beneath the mirrors is a shallow scooped tray for jewellery, with a moulded frieze, all resting on four typical ‘Whytock and Reid’ carved feet.
