Description
Circa 1870, white marble mantel clock by F.L.Hausburg, Paris. The top of the clock is unusual with a cast bronze dog holding a engraved cast brass bezel with a mother of pearl shell. The dog is standing on a foliate base which is gilded brass, and below is a black marble plinth. The clock itself is quite simple, with its Roman numerals and brass bezel and very simple elegant hands.
