Description
Circa 1870. A mid-Victorian walnut frame duet stand, the held in position by a brass upright surmounted by an elegant finial, with two adjustable sheet music slopes in walnut with a small ledge, with shaped center in the form of a lyre, the stem with a small knob for adjusting height, is bulbous, fluting, tapering and carved, the base with foliate carving, issuing three cabriole legs, with foliate carving on the knees and the toes, finishing on a curved foot with a downward facing finial in the center.
