Description
Circa 1870. A mid Victorian mahogany oval breakfast table. The top with mirror matched flame mahogany with a stylish moulded fore-edge and simple frieze with beading beneath. Behind the top the table has a clasp for tilting into the open position, all resting on four turned and tapering legs with a central boss with an upward facing finial, with the four uprights resting on hipped cabriole legs with foliate carving on the knees with scratch carving on the sides and finishing on well-turned foot with foliate carving on the top and original castors beneath.
