Description
Circa 1860. A quality mid Victorian oak pedestal desk. The top with brown leatherette insert with broad banding and simple moulded fore edge. The frieze with 3 drawers, each with a pair of turned wooden knobs, the largest long drawer, with a writing slope with similar covering to the top. Sitting on a pair of pedestals, each with a bank of three graduating drawers. The desk is polished on all sides, making it free standing. All resting on a large rectangular plinth with concealed castors beneath.
