Description
Circa 1850, early Victorian mahogany adjustable pole screen. To the top is a finial on an elongated stem, with a screen featuring a mahogany fretwork frame. Inside the frame is an original gros-point circular tapestry with floral motif and it all leads on to a barley sugar columns which gets broader as it goes downwards. It all stands on 3 carved cabriole legs with C scrolls to the back, are profusely carved and on curling toes.
