Circa 1900.  Tall Japanese bulbous vase with unusual geometric inset panels of glazed blue and white flowers on a russet background.  With contemporary style geometric hand-painted decorated base and neck and large panels of gilt and red, foliage and another panel with gilded foliage and birds russet background.  Decorative item suitable for a modern setting.
