Description
Circa 1820, A rare and unusual neat-sized Scottish bow fronted side table, the top with finely figured mahogany with a carved egg & dart fore-edge, the frieze with large bow fronted drawer, flanked by a pair of faux shorter drawers, each with turn-knob handles, the center drawer having the original lock and key. The drawers lined in walnut, the drawer fronts in birds-eye maple framed with fine ebony string inlay, the frieze beneath in mahogany with triple lines of box wood, mahogany, and ebony, the neat sized table rests on four elegant ring-turn tapering legs, finishing on an extended toe.
