Circa 1900. An unusual stylish curved mahogany open bookcase, the pediment with 2 pierced fleur-de-lis with the moulded cornice including concave, dentilled and Vitruvian scrolls, the top in 3 sections with polish paneled back, each section with 4 curved and polished adjustable shelves with moulded facings, each of the 3 sections flanked by elongated moulded panels, the open base of similar design with 1 adjustable shelf in each section, beneath the bottom shelf there’s a carved moulding and the bookcase rests on an enclosed plinth which follows the form of the top, there are over 7.5 linear meters of shelf space between the top and bottom sections.
