Description
Circa 1780, a set of three George III satin birch knife boxes. The set of rectangular outline, the hinged sloped tops outlined with triple reeded banding, opening to fitted interiors with a marquetry shell roundel to the lid, retaining the original white metal escutcheons and diminutive lifting handles.
