Description
Circa 1830, exhibition quality set of 14 William IV Scottish oak dining chairs. With scroll carved tops over upholstered black leather backs with close studding and with lyre shaped uprights. The large stuffover seat in black leather with brass studding (all upholstery by Roy Kirby Leathers, London) and with shaped seat rail. On square, tapering and outswept back legs and turned, carved front legs on elevated, turned feet.
