Description
Circa 1850. A low Scottish walnut stool of desirable proportions, the rectangular top recently upholstered, with a half round beading to the fore-edge. The stool rests on a X shaped frame centered by a rondel with foliate carving on the tops, all resting on the original brass and white porcelain castors. The underside of the stool is stamped ‘John Taylor and Son, Edinburgh’ with the registration ‘No. F9781’.
