Description
Circa 1820. Rare set of 12 outstanding quality Regency mahogany dining chairs in excellent condition. The acanthus-carved curved top rails above open carved lower rails with acanthus and scrolling decoration supported on chamfered curved uprights. The over-stuffed seats in traditional horse-hair upholstery and patterned velvet covering in excellent condition above reeded seat rails and ring-turned fluted legs in front and outswept rear supports.
