Circa 1770. Rare, large-size early George III walnut bench/stool. The lift out oak-framed seat with a green tapestry covering and with moulded and crossbanded seat rails above the rounded frieze with shell carvings to the sides. The elegant cabriole legs with shell carved knees and elegant tasseled toes. Beautiful colour and patina
