Circa 1900. George III style figured mahogany bureau bookcase. Surmounted by a broken arch cornice with tall urn and crossbanded frieze above two shaped astragal glazed doors, opening to shelved bookcase. The base with a crossbanded and mirror matched flame mahogany flap, opening to interior with secret compartments in neoclassical columns, pigeon holes, drawers and a baize writing surface above four block-fronted, crossbanded, cockbeaded, graduated drawers with swan neck brass handles and solid quarter-cut oak drawer linings above a shaped moulded base and ogee bracket feet.
