Description
Circa 1890. A Qing Dynasty Hongmu marble topped two tier side table. The petal shaped pink variegated marble top insert within a broad and profusely carved border with a beaded fore-edge, concave frieze and pierced carved apron with many Chinese motifs. Resting on four well carved legs with multiple types of carving on the facing, the legs are braced by a shaped, carved and pierced shelf and resting on four carved feet showing the face of a dragon sitting on a carved circular bun foot.
