Description
Circa 1860. Gilded French clock surmounted by the neoclassical figure of Diana the Hunter with bow and hunting dog, the circular clock face, with blue Roman numerals on small white porcelain plaques. The base supported with griffins with garland swags over moulded circular feet. All on a shaped giltwood stand with moulded decorations, over small bracket feet. The circular brass clock movement stamped Gve Rey Jne, Paris. The maker of the case is unknown.
