Description
Circa 1880 a carved oak gothic revival hall seat, the paneled back with gothic tracery supported by sturdy uprights with large finials, the simple arms with a pierced sides including pierced carving, the large solid hinged seat opens to reveal an uninterrupted interior, the front and sides with carved linen folds with the peg joints clearly visible, all resting on an enclosed base.
