Description
Circa 1960s, oak framed stool by Derek ‘Lizardman’ Slater of Crayke, North Yorkshire; inspired by the classic oak carving/furniture of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson or Kilburn, Yorkshire. With drop-in leather seat pad and a simple oak peg jointed frame, on chamfered legs (one featuring a carved lizard). With rectangular stretchers to the base for extra stability.
