Description
Circa 1900. A Qing Dynasty Huanghuali marble top side table. The square top with pink variegated marble insert, the top has a carved fore edge in the form of stacked bamboo with a foliate pierced double frieze beneath which is profusely carved on all sides, the table rests on four typical Chinese legs with a mythical dragon head on the top, foliate carving on the knees and finishing on a stylized animal foot.
