Circa 1770. Quality inlayed George III Mahogany bureau, with a solid top and inlayed flap with various checkered inlay, string inlay and a lovely over shell in the center, inside is well appointed including a, felt writing surface and various pigeon holes, drawers, center cupboard inlayed with small compartments, pigeon holes and secret drawers behind, the front with a configuration of four full length graduating drawers, each with the original cast brass swan neck handles, and inscribed back-plates, the top drawer flanked by a pair of lopers with brass axe-head drops, the piece rests on four, stylish, bracket feet.
