Description
Circa 1930. Mahogany writing desk by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh. The classical Whytock and Reid style top with a central panel of gilt tooled leather writing surface flanked by 2 panels of flame mahogany. The moulded edges above a long frieze drawer with Langerbear brass lock and flanked by two banks of 3 cockbeaded drawers with turned knobs. All supported on classical Lorimer-style bracket feet & in excellent condition. One piece desk (does not dismantle).
