Description
Circa 1920, quality Whytock and Reid large mahogany 2-drawer side table. The top in mirror matched flame Spanish mahogany with crossbanding and moulded foredges. With 2 cock beaded frieze drawers (stamped Whytock and Reid) with flame mahogany fronts and cast brass swan neck handles. The small shaped apron is over cabriole legs with scrolled knees and typical Lorimer pad foot. An example of the typical Whytock and Reid superlative craftsmanship.
