Description
Circa 1820, George IV mahogany secretaire chest of drawers. The top has string inlay near and on the fore-edge above a large secretaire drawer with beaded panel and 2 cast brass handles. Inside is a writing surface, various pigeon holes and drawers with turned bone handles. Flanked by drawers, and above 3 full length drawers, all with circular ring pull handles, and double reeding. Beneath these is further inlay and a shaped apron, all standing on squat bracket feet.
