Description
Circa 1800. George III mahogany elbow or office chair with red leather upholstery. The curved deep bar top rail, fine acanthus-carved central rail and rectangular lower rail on shaped support with shaped arms extending forward to turned supports. The generous seat recently reupholstered in a quality red leather with close brass studding. All supported on square tapering legs with H cross stretchers. Sturdy with a beautiful colour and patina.
