Description
Circa 1790. A late George III mahogany arm chair in the Hepplewhite style, the shaped cresting rail with a wonderfully pierced and carved splat supported by two uprights with carved capitals, with the curved arms supported on balustrade uprights, the stuff-over seat recently re-covered, back legs slightly out-swept the front legs are square, all the legs braced by conforming stretchers.
