Description
Circa 1880, George II style mahogany foldover card table by Gillows of Lancaster. The foldover top with outset rounded corners, opening to a brown baize lined playing surface, above a single frieze drawer with original cast brass handle with a fretwork back plate, raised on C scroll carved cabriole legs ending in raised pad feet; the drawer stamped ‘GILLOWS, LANCASTER’.
