Description
Circa 1750. A late George II mahogany D shaped fold over tea table. The solid top with a simple moulded fore edge, double hinged opens to reveal a polished interior this also lifts up to reveal a storage section beneath, the opened top is supported by a single sweeping leg at the back. The table has a deep frieze which follows the form of the table top with elegant cast brass escutcheon in the center, resting on 4 lappeted turned legs finishing on a classic pad foot.
