Description
Circa 1870, exhibition quality mid Victorian burr walnut davenport, the lift up top with elaborate open fretwork stationery cabinet inside, over a shaped inlaid flap which opens to reveal a sliding writing surface, pen tray and inkwell. At the side are 4 drawers with knob handles opposing dummy drawers, and finely turned and carved supports at the front.
