Circa 1930. Finest quality Georgian style carved mahogany breakfront bookcase/display cabinet. Surmounted by breakfront dentil cornice above q frieze with carved teardrops, the upper section with 4 doors with arched astragal glazing opening to interior with Georgian style rear mirror (can be removed) and adjustable glass shelving (can be changed). The base with a gadroon carved fore-edge above 4 drawers with beading, cast brass ring handles and solid mahogany liners (sign of quality) over 4 cupboards with moulded panel fronts and paterae and cartouche carvings. All on a gadroon carved base with deeply carved claw and ball feet.
