Description
Circa 1860. An early Victorian rosewood ladies chair. The solid shaped frame, with shaped cresting rail, pierced areas and padded back, with shaped arms which finished with a well carved scroll facing. Large upholstered stuffed oval seat, back legs slightly out swept, a shaped and foliate carved apron to the front, finishing on an elegant leg with a curled toe with brass and white porcelain casters beneath. The chair comes with a small cushion, and the fabric is in excellent condition.
