Description
Circa 1900. A George III style mahogany armchair in the Chippendale style, the shaped carved and ribbed cresting rail with folded corners, with an elegant pierced and carved back, with large stuff-over seat, the shaped arms terminate with foliate carving, the back legs are slightly out swept, front legs are profusely carved cabriole legs with carved quarter blocks foliate carving on the knees finishing on a ball and claw foot.
