Description
Circa 1830 and later, Italian black marble and inlaid specimen top table on an Anglo-Indian carved padouk base. The top with a central star design contained in concentric inlays of black and yellow variegated marble, surrounded by various curved and geometric patterns in various marbles. Supported on a profusely carved stem with bulbous flower head to the top, fluted sections and over a flared foliate carving. All standing on a large concave, triangular platform base with a carved apron, and finishing on scrolled feet with original brass and porcelain castors.
