Description
Circa 1920, gilded and ebonised side table in the early Spanish style by the famous cabinetmaking firm, Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh. The rectangular top with gilt finish (with some Venetian red blushing showing) and central ebonised panel with Lorimer style foliate carvings to the foredge. Supported on two shaped trestles with foliate decoration, terminating with claw feet between a decorative arched central support with foliate carvings.
