Description
Circa 1950s. A quartetto or nest of 4 Chinese hardwood tables. Rectangular tables with a floating panel insert, and broad banding, each of the tables has a pierced frieze with classic Chinese motifs. All resting on four square legs with a beading on the inside with conforming stretchers, the smallest table has stretchers on all sides which gives the set a lovely symmetry. The tables are clean and sturdy.
