Description
Circa 1890. Exhibition quality satinwood and painted bow fronted display cabinet. The classic cornice with inlay and downward facing finials with acanthus leaves in between them. To the front a large bow fronted door with curved glass and elegant astragals, the two side panels are similar, inside are three polished mahogany shelves with satinwood and inlay on the facing. Beneath the door on the base there are three panels, the central one being a door with painted panels with further inlay on all sides. Beneath this is further moulding, a shaped and painted frieze and the cabinet rests on four ball and claw feet.
