Description
Circa 1780. A George III mahogany Dumfries house style chest of drawers, the solid top with a moulded fore-edge, with a configuration of 2 short over 3 full length graduating drawers, the cockbeaded drawers with proud brass escutcheons, drop handles with elegant backplate, the drawer liners are made in ash (indicating its Scottish), beneath the bottom drawer there’s an elegant moulding, resting on 4 stylish bracket feet. The chest has great colour and patination.
