Circa 1840. A stylish Louis XVIII mahogany marble top secretaire chest, the grey marble with a rounded front and reeded fore-edge, the top drawer is hinged and opens to form a secretaire with a blue tooled and leather insert, with drawers and pigeon hole, with 3 full length drawers below all with matching flame mahogany with oval escutcheons and circular brass handles, the large deep plinth conceals a drawer, all resting on squat shaped bracket feet.
