Circa 1880 A pair of George III, Adam style carved mahogany urns, the fluted raised lids surmounted by a well-carved finial the body with 2 raised sections faced with a Lion mask with lovely swag and tail pattern and oval rondels between, the removable lids expose a solid open cavity, the urn shaped bodies with simple reeding resting on a fluted circular base supported on and enclosed mahogany plinth, the carving is of the finest quality with great colour and patination.
