Description
Circa 1860 A mid Victorian mahogany chest (probably by Gillows of Lancaster) the top in fine flamed mahogany with a curved fore edge, with a configuration of 2 short over 3 full length graduating drawers, each of the drawers with their stylish carved circular handles finishing with a rondel, the drawers retained their original blue lining paper, with the drawer sides in solid oak beneath the bottom drawer there’s an enclosed plinth with a chamfer on the fore-edge. The neat size chest (recently French polished traditionally).
