Description
Circa 1880. A late Victorian Birdseye maple inlaid serpentine fronting wardrobe of exhibition quality, the shaped inlaid cornice with the satinwood Greek key design and vertical inlay of Birdseye maple and walnut, the center of the wardrobe with a pair of shaped doors with oval-panels, Birdseye maple and broad banding, beneath this a bank of two short over two full length drawers with curved ends, flanked by a pair of concave full length doors, the panels top and bottom with various inlays, with Birdseye maple gables, all sitting on a inlaid moulding which follows the form of the wardrobe, resting on six square tapering inlaid feet, the wardrobe breaks into several pieces
