Description
Circa 1870 Large hand-decorated Qin dynasty Chinese Famille-Vert fishbowl. The interior painted with carp and pond vegetation (has an old, restored hairline star crack). The rim and exterior with multi-coloured flower and foliate decorations including in famille rose and vert colours. The multi-coloured panels of banqueting Chinese figures, and of warriors and horses set in a turquoise background with hand-painted flowers
