Description
Circa 1880. Exceptional quality Georgian, Adam-style demi-lune hall or side table. The figured mahogany top with a foliate carved fore-edge above a wonderfully carved frieze with Adams’s neo-classical decoration of oval patera and scrolling foliage. The square tapering legs with pierced quarter brackets and bellflower chains terminating in spade toes. Exceptional quality carving.
