Description
Circa 1920s. Stained beech and metal revolving industrial stool. The circular top with a slightly scooped center rests on a metal base with makers label on the stem ‘Archie Young Company, surgical instrument manufacturers, Edinburgh’. The stem housed a rise and fall screw mechanism, the height adjusts anywhere from 49cm to 65cm, the bottom of the mechanism has three splayed feet braced by industrial metal stretchers and finishing on a flattened foot.
