Description
Circa 1820. A quality Dutch marquetry two-part serpentine fronted corner cabinet. The top surmounted with a foliate carved section. The moulded cornice is smothered in marquetry, the front there is a pair of serpentine doors with a beaded panel and a shorter pair of doors below. Almost every surface is smothered in classic Dutch floral marquetry which includes urns, flowers, swags and ribbons. Beneath the bottom pair of doors there is a simple fore edge with string inlay, at the front a pair of chamfered feet with a large block at the back.
