Description
Circa 1830. A good William IV mahogany open bookcase. The polished top in well figured mahogany with ¾ pierced and gilded gallery, simple fore edge, and a frieze, beneath with three fixed shelves flanked by a pair of Tuscan columns with simple capitals and bases. The bookcase rests on an enclosed mahogany plinth which follows the form of the bookcase and the columns.
