Circa 1900, a French Boulle mantel clock in Louis XV style, white enamel dial with Arabic numerals bearing the retailers name ‘Sorley of Glasgow’, all contained in a case of cartouche shape, with gilt brass scrolling, foliate mounts, resting on elegant cast cabriole legs.
