Description
Circa 1860, mid-Victorian freestanding walnut centre table. The rectangular top with serpentine sides in figured burr walnut with cross banded edges is over a beaded frieze with fluted finials. It is supported on open foliate carved trestles surmounted by eagle heads and connected by turned fluted and acanthus carved stretcher. This is over acanthus carved cabriole legs with hidden brass castors.
