Description
Circa 1860, exhibition quality pollard oak collectors cabinet or estate cabinet. In two parts, the top is in figured pollard oak and has a simple moulded cornice, with two doors featuring fielded panels with canted corners and cast brass flowerheads. Inside it is fitted with pigeon holes and two small drawers above more doors. The bottom section has an adjustable shelf, and the gables are in pollard oak. It stands on an enclosed plinth.
